Mark is one of world’s leading experts in location positioning and wireless communications technologies including GPS, A-GPS, Satellite, Cellular, WiMax, and Wi-Fi. He has extensive experience in systems design, technical architecture, convergence and delivery across multiple platforms for targeted solutions.
Mark is the former Chief Technology Officer of OnStar Europe, where he was responsible for the strategy and development of voice, data, video and mobile services including implementation of the ERP system and business processes. He has also consulted with a number of the largest MVNOs as the project lead dealing with carrier contract, billing, call center, logistics, taxation, and corporate infrastructure.
Mark has authored numerous patents, including 6+ patents in development for VitalTrax. His leading technology accomplishments include Europe’s first Wi-Fi hot spot utilizing wireless products and prototype WISP infrastructure in 2000 with satellite backhaul prior to DSL availability. He also provided broadband delivery to the Siemens Explorer train in 2002; served as strategy and technology architect for a major nationwide WiMax project and was involved in the development of broadband services on commercial airlines.
Previously, Mark was also a Managing Principal at Adventis, a global strategy consultancy specializing in telecommunications and has supported a number of leading consulting firms as a subject matter expert. Mark has also held numerous corporate positions in Fortune 100 companies over his career and served on a National Committee for SHRM: Society for Human Resource Management.
